How long have you been in business?
I started practicing law in the Historic Hutchinson House in 1989.
What is your primary product or service?
We represent people and families who have lost a loved one, or suffered a serious injury due to the fault of another.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I became interested in becoming a lawyer, after negotiating and drafting a contract to be a partner in a restaurant. After finishing college, I chose to continue my education, so I sold the restaurant, and attended FSU college of law.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I am a board certified trial lawyer. I am certified by the Florida Bar and the National Association of Trial Lawyers.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We are located in Hyde Park, Tampa in the Historical land mark building known as the Hutchinson House. The Hutchinson House was built in 1906, and was listed on the historical register in 1977. Before being listed as a historical landmark, it was a fraternity house, boarding house, hospital, and originally a single family home for the Hutchinsons.

We are located at the corner of Platt and Plant in Hyde Park.
What type of payments do you accept?
We take injury cases on a contingency fee basis, which means we only get paid if we make a recovery for you.
Which areas do you service?
We handle injury cases from all parts of Florida. Hillsborough County is our home, but we litigate cases in Pinellas, Pasco, Polk, Hernando, Palm Beach, Orange, Seminole, and many other counties.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Matthew D. Powell is the partner of the law firm

We are available 24 hours a day in case of emergency.
